Make your WordPress blog searchable

June 3rd, 2008

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

For the past few weeks, we have been talking about how to make a blog search able to the search engines. Today we are going to talk about how to do that via WordPress.

For WordPress.com hosted blogs, they ask you if you want your blog to be search able from the beginning.

If you missed it during signup, no fear.

WordPress.com option

  1. Login to your hosted Wordpress account.
  2. Click on the “Settings” tab
  3. Click on the “Privacy” link.

However, if you have WordPress on your own webhosting, you can also follow the same steps above.

Thanks to Stephanie Fierman of Stephanie Fierman Marketing Daily for bringing this to my attention.
